History

Immanuel Lutheran Church
Established 1988

Immanuel was officially organized as the first mission start of the newly formed Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Under the tireless and energetic leadership of Pastor Luther Kistler, Immanuel began worship in the Palm City Community Center.

Soon after, they purchased a real estate office for worship. This building is affectionately remembered as the "Toy Church." Our current sanctuary was completed and dedicated in 1990.

Pastor Thomas Hartley was called as Senior Pastor and began serving on September 1, 1995. Construction began on our Faith Development Center on September 2001 and completed in August of 2002. Our mission expanded in 2005 to include Immanuel Early Learning Center. The Early Learning Center provides a quality Christian Education for children
ages 2 through 4.
